Forget about Australian Idol or Australia’s Got Talent. Your moment to shine is here - live on stage at Australia’s largest touring festival. Sing karaoke with a live band, rock out with air guitar, headbang to your favourite track, or deliver a one-of-a-kind performance. You’ll join the festival's entertainment lineup alongside some of the world’s biggest bands and internationally renowned artists.

Prize:

Five winners from each state will have the chance to perform live on stage at this year’s Good Things Festival in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

But that's not all! Winners will also receive:

●    4 tickets to bring friends or family along to see your performance

●    A merch pack

●    A backstage tour of the artist dressing rooms with fellow performers

●    A food and drink rider for you and your 4 guests

How To Enter:

1. Film a short, no longer than 30-second video of yourself singing, lip-syncing, air guitaring, headbanging, dancing, or showcasing your unique talent to the chorus of a song by one of the Good Things lineup acts.

2. Upload the video to the competition page
Note that all videos will be approved by the Good Things Team. This can take up to 12 hours.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to Give Your video a name that you can include on your social post to drum support.
Example: "John Rocker does Korn" |  "Sally MusicLover air guitars to Sum 41"‍

3. Post the video on your social media, tell your your follower to visit and vote for your video

What Happens Next:

Voting opens Sunday 22nd September at 5pm, so get your friends, family, followers, and even your critics to support you!

●    All entries will be reviewed by the Good Things team.

●    The top 30 entries with the highest votes per state will be shortlisted for the heats.

●    Additionally, 10 wildcard performers per state will be chosen by the Good Things team.

At the heats, shortlisted performers will showcase their talent by either performing a full karaoke song or presenting a special act to their favourite song.
(Note: The song you choose for the heats does not have to be from the Good Things lineup; it can be any song you like!).

The top 10 performers per Heat will go through to the Final on October 16th.

Winners will be decided by a 50% judge vote and 50% crowd vote at the Heats and Finals - so make sure to bring all your mates to cheer you on and vote!

From each final, five winners will be selected to perform live at Good Things 2024.
