how much will tickets cost?

$239.95 includes all fees and charges except delivery choices. There will also be an option to pay for your tickets over time. These tickets will be 3 installments of $85.00. Further details are listed below.

Will there be any additional charges when I purchase tickets?

No, except delivery options you can choose if you wish (including GST) Mail – $9.95 per order; SMS – $1.50 per order.

What time is the Pre-sale?

For those who have registered, the pre-sale starts 10:00am Tuesday 27th August.

What happens if I did not get my Presale email?

Your pre-sale email will be sent to you in the afternoon, Monday 26th August. You will also receive an SMS around midday on Tuesday 27th August when the pre-sale is open. If you have not received anything by 12 noon Tuesday 27th August please email info@oztix.com.au

What is the maximum amount of Pre-Sale ticket I can purchase?

I’m going to more than one city, can I purchase up to 8 tickets per show in the Presale?

How can I pay for my Pre-Sale Tickets?

Mastercard, Visa Card only. We will also be offering a pay over time option for our customers.

I live overseas… How do I purchase Tickets?

You can purchase tickets like any other customer. Please ensure you select the E-ticket option as we can’t send hard tickets overseas.

I am under 18 years of age, can I attend?

Yes. You do have to be over 15 to attend the Brisbane and Melbourne events, over 16 to attend the Sydney event - also you must be accompanied by a responsible adult.When purchasing your ticket you must select the youth ticket and registered post as a delivery option as we will send you your wristband out before the event.

What is a responsible Adult?

The rules differ from state to state and you must be able to validate your relationship at the event on the day.

Melbourne

A person who is of or over the age of 18 years and is:

  • the minor's parent, step-parent, guardian, grandparent, or
  • the minor's spouse who is above the age of 18, or
  • a person who is acting in place of a parent and who could reasonably be expected to exercise responsible supervision of the minor.

Sydney

The definition of a responsible adult is:

  • A parent or guardian of the minor
  • the minor’s spouse or de facto partner
  • standing in as the parent of the minor for the time being

BRISBANE

The definition of a responsible adult is:
• A parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor is a responsible adult.
• Additionally, anyone who has parental rights and responsibilities for the minor may fit the definition which could include:

  • parents who have their children’s friends with them
  • older siblings where the difference in age and maturity would suggest the older person has parental rights and responsibilities

I’ve “reserved tickets” but do not have my confirmation and I’m freaking out!

So long as you saw a confirmation page, you have tickets! Due to the expected demand from people wanting to purchase tickets, Oztix may need to implement a queuing system to ensure customers have a smooth purchasing process. Once your order has been successfully processed you will receive an order receipt from Oztix via email. It may take up to 2 hours to receive your actual tickets, however most people will receive it within an hour. If after 6 hrs you have not received an order receipt from Oztix please email info@oztix.com.au with your name and email address and they can look into it for you.

What happens if there is a problem with payment, will I lose my reservation?

Yes. Make sure you have a valid card (check the expiry date) and make sure you have enough credit on your card.

Where can I buy tickets in person once the General Public Sale starts?

When will I receive my tickets?

Barcode PDF e-ticket: You will be sent an email containing a PDF attachment with a barcode e-ticket for each ticket you have purchased.

SMS: You will be sent a SMS with the information and a link to your tickets.Mail Ticket: Please allow 14 days. Use your AusPost tracking number that will be emailed to you when the order ships from Oztix.

Youth Tickets - these will be sent to you 2 weeks before the event and you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking code when they are shipped.

Souvenir tickets - You will be sent an update on these tickets and they will be sent to you at the beginning of November. Please note these tickets are not to be used for entry but for you to keep. Please bring your barcoded e-ticket, SMS or Oztix ticket to gain entry to the event.

Why must I provide an e-mail address?

This is so we can email your tickets to you or contact you in case of event changes.

What if I don’t have an e-mail address?

You will need to provide the email address of someone you know and trust so we can send your tickets to them.

What is Pay Over Time?

Pay off your tickets in 3 easy instalments!

PLEASE NOTE your ticket will be paid over 3 x fortnightly instalments. Your initial instalment will be paid on the day you make your order. There will be two further fortnightly instalments of $85.00 (per ticket) deducted from the date of your original payment.

Why is Pay Over Time charged more than an upfront purchase?

There are additional processing and administration costs in offering the pay over time function. Unlike many other payment options out there, we do not penalise you with large interest charges in the event of a payment default.

I've booked my ticket with my first installment paid. What happens now? When will payments be deducted?

Your 2nd payments will be deducted 14 days after your initial purchase. If you purchased on the 27th August, your next payment will be on the 10th September and your final payment on the 24th September.

Oh No, I missed a payment! What happens now? What should I do to avoid losing my tickets?

In the event of a default, you will be sent an email and it will try again the following day. If you default again we will try a 3rd time the next day. If it's 3 strikes, you're out and you will have to contact Oztix to reinstate your schedule in order to secure the tickets.

I'd like to pay out my ticket early. Can I do this and secure my ticket now?

Will there be accessible entry points?

Yes each entrance will have a dedicated accessible lane to accommodate patron requirements.

Are there dedicated accessible drop off and pick up points and car parking?

Yes, each venue has dedicated accessible parking bays and if you require information on these locations, please contact us here so we can understand demand and we we will provide you with a map and instructions closer to the day

Will there be accessible viewing platforms?

Yes we will have accessible viewing platforms at the main stages (1 & 2) and also at the 2nd stages (stage 3 & 4). Please note these platforms are only for patrons with physical mobility requirements and 1 carer as well. Patrons with temporary injuries on crutches, moonboots or similar are not able to use the platforms.

Will there be Auslan interpreters?

Yes! They will be on the main stage 1 & 2 and we are currently reviewing if we are able to also have them on stage 3 & 4 as well.

Will there be accessible toilets?

Yes! Accessible toilets will be located at each accessible viewing platform, you will be able to view these on our patron map upon release closer to the festival.

Will there be changing places?

Unfortunately at this stage we are not planning on having changing places at the event, please contact us here if you are in need of this.

Do you accommodate Carers/ Companions?

We understand that some people have a need for a full time carer or companion. GTF will allow a valid ticket holder one free entry ticket for their legitimate carer.Please purchase your required ticket and then e-mail info@oztix.com.au with your current carer or companion card information, or written proof of your status as a Carer and we will issue you one free ticket.

Who can I reach out to if I need help on the day?

The event will have a dedicated accessibility contact on the day of the event and contact details and an event map with locations can be provided if you register with us prior to the day. You can register by contacting us here.

I have sensory issues and may get overwhelmed. Is there a quiet room or somewhere i can get a break from the music and crowds?

Yes we will have a dedicated chill out space which will be friendly for those suffering from sensory overload, however due to the nature of the multi stage event and open venue, we can not guarantee it will be totally clear of music. Please contact us for more information and to discuss specific requirements here.

Does the event provide sensory kits?

No we will not provide sensory kits however you are welcome to bring them with you into the event. Please contact us here prior to the event so we can send you a confirmation to show security if you have any issues with bag size or accessing the venue on the day.

Do any of the venues have an audio loop installed?

Unfortunately none of the shows will have an audio loop

Will lighting be friendly for those who are sensitive to strobe/intense lighting?

Unfortunately due to the nature of the acts and scale of our production, we are not able to guarantee this and in most cases headline bands production includes strobe and intense light shows.
